Most of the slates are as found/acquired and for example may have old nail holes and/or may have been trimmed. Whilst steps have been taken to ensure correctness in measurement, dimensions may in practice differ slightly. Slate is a heavy material. Generally speaking the larger the heavier. Those listed here weigh between 7Kg and 16Kg. If this is of concern, please enquire as to individual weights. My slate pictures work well anywhere in the house and perhaps particularly well in bathrooms, kitchens, and conservatories.
