Most of the slates are as found/acquired and for example may have old nail holes and/or may have been trimmed. Whilst steps have been taken to ensure correctness in measurement, dimensions may in practice differ slightly. My slate pictures work well anywhere in the house and perhaps particularly well in bathrooms, kitchens, and conservatories.
